04/05/2010 - AFC Group leads the way in Customer Access Technology

AFC Group have futher advanced their Customer Portal Access within their in house developed iCom Management software allowing customers to interact with our information sections providing improved visibility in respect of Incident Management, National and local account rostering and book on, emergency procedures and billing audits.

Ian Dunstan, Group IT Director commented, having worked with both Customers and Field Management within a number of customer service focused project groups, we were able to respond to our customers requirements and to provide meaningful solutions to assist them in their respective roles, in either the completion of performance reports or daily checks in respect of Risk and Performance.

We are currently finalising a number of other IT solutions focused on improving customer service, reporting and speedy response to day to day issues.

04/01/2010 - Senior Management Appointment

AFC Group is pleased to welcome Julie Hulme to the senior management team as Commercial Director. She brings with her more than 18 years security and soft services industry experience. Julie will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process within the group.

After completing a French degree at St Andrews University Julie began her career in sales at Reed Publishing. She then went on to join Reliance Security, undertaking a number of senior sales and sales management roles including Regional Sales Manager, Shopping Centre Account Manager and Key Account Manager. Julie was responsible for securing a number of prestigious accounts and has specific experience of the property sector. Julie then went on to join G4S, as Head of Commercial Sales. Her most recent position was as a Director of a UK division of a US company specialising in provision of soft services in the shopping centre sector, where she had responsibility for implementing and developing sales and growth strategies. She was responsible for project managing the company’s successful SIA accreditation and securing a number of shopping centre contracts.

Julie is a member of the British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC) Safer Shopping Committee and has also served on the SIA’s Corporate Strategy Standards Committee.

27/10/2009 - AFC Group – Finalist- Security Excellence Awards 2009

AFC Group have been selected as a finalists in the ‘Security Guarding Company of the Year’ category in the Security Excellence Awards 2009.

15/12/2008 - AFC Group are pleased to announce their membership with LANPAC
(Lancashire Police against Crime)

Gordon Brady UK Operations Director and Jim Mackinnon Major Account Manager were delighted to accept their membership certificate at a ceremony at Lancashire Police HQ on the 7th November 2008 from Steve Finnegan Chief Constable of Lancashire Constabulary and Jimmy Armfield Chairman of LANPAC

01/11/2008 - Most Customer Focused Business Award.

Olivier Cavaliere (CEO) and John Roddy (Group MD) have been presented with the 'Most Customer focused business award' at a Gala evening hosted by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
